Who can see my information?
Your cloud workspace requires Google sign-in followed by an authenticator or a single-use recovery code. NurseReady checks that documents and records belong to your account before returning them. Employers and other users do not automatically receive access.
Google shares your name, email and basic profile for sign-in. NurseReady does not receive your Google password or access your Gmail messages. You can use Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or another compatible app. Save your recovery codes safely; each works once after Google sign-in. Manage your authenticator and active sessions in Account security.
How are my documents protected?
Your connection uses HTTPS, and uploaded original files are encrypted before they are stored in private cloud storage. Originals are downloaded through your signed-in account rather than a public file link.
This is not end-to-end encryption. The app can decrypt your files for authorized downloads, and service operators with sufficient access can access stored information. Details such as document names, dates, notes and profile information are protected by account access but are not encrypted by the app.
What stays on my device?
Browser-only Free stores your information in this browser, without syncing it to a cloud workspace. This browser storage is not encrypted by NurseReady. Avoid shared devices, and download a backup before clearing site data.
The installed app does not save private documents for offline access. Files you download remain on your device. Push reminders may appear on your lock screen; use your device’s privacy settings to control what others can see.
Can I download or delete my information?
You can export your workspace data and download stored originals. The workspace also includes a delete-all-data option that requires explicit confirmation.
Deleting your cloud workspace does not delete your Google account, records on the previous NurseReady site, downloaded files, browser-only data or copies you shared. Provider backups and logs may have separate retention periods.
Is it ready for sensitive records?
Not yet. Sign-in and encrypted file upload and download have been tested, but independent security review and additional privacy, recovery and account-isolation checks are still pending. NurseReady does not claim HIPAA compliance or SOC 2 certification.
For now, use fictional or redacted documents. Do not upload patient information, Social Security numbers, banking details, passwords or government identity documents. If you notice a security concern during this preview, contact the project owner through your existing communication channel without sending sensitive records.
